Description:
A stunning example of 19th-century French majolica craftsmanship, this botanical plate captures the romantic naturalism of the era. Flowing fern fronds and delicate flower clusters are hand-molded in soft shades of green, ivory, and pale rose, gently raised against a luminous turquoise ground.
The surface is richly glazed with fine crackle typical of antique majolica, adding depth and authenticity. Measuring approximately 8 ¾ inches in diameter, this piece is perfect for layering into a majolica wall collection, displaying on a shelf, or styling a garden-themed tablescape.
